Putting it to the test
We conducted a study on the effects of sea buckthorn oil on over 100 dogs. The aim was to test the effects of a standardised formulation of sea buckthorn oil on dogs suffering from dry and/or cracked paw pads, runny eyes, stuffy and dry nose or a dry muzzle tip. Among other benefits, BERRYOMG® sea buckthorn oil capsules significantly reduced dryness and cracking in the dogs’ paw pads.
Our study revealed remarkable results with the use of sea buckthorn oil capsules. These capsules significantly reduced the cracking and dryness of paw pads, as well as decreased the amount of licking and chewing of the paws.
The study found that eye discharge due to dry eyes can be alleviated with the use of sea buckthorn oil capsules.
We also monitored the general condition of the dogs in the study groups. The most noticeable change was observed in coat shine: dog owners reported a new gleam in their pet’s fur.
